Terms of Use
EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 15, 2026
Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and Rude Company LLC ("we" or "us") covering the Pickle Cast app for iPhone and iPad and the picklecast.tv website. By installing or using either, you agree to these terms. If you download the app from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies, and these terms add to it.
Your license
We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use Pickle Cast on Apple devices you own or control, for keeping score, reviewing play, and watching your own games. You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the app, and you may not use it to build a competing product.
Cameras and recording
Pickle Cast can turn a phone or tablet into a court camera that streams to your other devices. You are responsible for how you point it. Follow the rules of the court or venue you are playing at, respect the privacy of the people around you, and get consent where the law or the venue requires it. Do not use the camera feature to record anyone who has asked not to be recorded.
Your content
Team names, scores, match history, and any camera image the app handles belong to you. They live on your devices and are never sent to us, so we claim no rights over them and cannot recover them for you if a device is lost or the app is deleted.
Scores and calls are aids, not rulings
Pickle Cast keeps the score you enter and shows you what the cameras saw. It is a tool for friendly play, not an official scoring or officiating system. Any replay, ball trace, or line call the app shows is an aid to your own judgment. For sanctioned play, the tournament's rules and officials decide.
Play safely
Mount devices so they cannot fall on the court or trip anyone. Keep your eyes on the ball, not the screen, while a point is live. You use Pickle Cast at your own risk, and we are not responsible for injuries or damage to devices while playing.
Coming soon means not yet
The website describes hardware and features that are planned, including the camera pod, line calls, tournaments, and ratings. Those descriptions are not offers to sell and not promises of delivery dates or final specifications. Anything marked coming soon may change or may not ship.
No warranty
Pickle Cast is provided as is and as available, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We do not promise the app will be error-free or that a camera stream will always connect.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Rude Company LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost data or lost games, arising from your use of Pickle Cast. Our total liability to you for any claim related to the app or website is limited to the amount you paid us for the app in the twelve months before the claim, which today is nothing.
Ending this agreement
You can end this agreement at any time by deleting the app. We may end it if you break these terms. The sections on your content, no warranty, and limitation of liability survive.
Changes and governing law
We may update these terms as the product grows. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and continuing to use Pickle Cast after that means you accept the new terms. These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Rude Company LLC is organized, without regard to conflict of law rules.
